The Winter and Spring programs will commence the week of September 8 and conclude November 18 at the following locations:

• Wednesdays, 9:30—11:30am:

• Thursdays, 1:00—3:00pm:
  West Hillhurst Seniors, 1940—6 Ave NW

The Winter and Spring “Capture the Beauty” will commence the week of January 5 and conclude in April.

This course is designed to explore the nature of watercolour and its spontaneity. Participants will concentrate on the following basic to special skills:

• Composition and design
• Sponge
• Colour
• Handling of paper
• Pallette knife
• Paints
• The use of salt
• Brushes
• Stencilling techniques

Classes will focus on student needs, abilities and level of ambition. Instruction is personalized and features demonstrations, exercises and presentations with positive feedback. Beginners welcome—Experts will be challenged!

Registration is limited to 14 and is on a FIRST PAID—FIRST SAVED basis.

1. If you are a member of the Seniors Associations at Bowness, Parkdale or West Hillhurst complete the form and pay “The Programme Coordinator” on site. The cost is set by your Association.
2. If you are one of Joy’s students or a new student, register through Joy Tozer – 282-1705 and complete the form, and forward the form and payment to 5131 Barron Dr. N.W. – Cost $130.00 (includes a membership and that entails you to take the program at the preferred site)
